Sludge/doom metal band from Belfast
About War Iron
War Iron formed in 2005 in Belfast. They worked in the sludge / doom metal tradition, drawing heavily on slow, crushing riffs, heavy bass, oppressive atmospheres, and vocals that match the darkness of the music. They released an EP Black Bile Black Heart in 2018. Some of the members are associated with other metal bands such as Fuckhammer and Slomatics.
